ABOUT US
Hoopin' for a Cause is a non-profit organization based in Los Angeles that links the game of basketball with charitable causes to help make a difference in other people's lives. We organize competitive adult basketball tournament events and activities for local players to participate in and raise money, all while bringing community together and creating awareness for a variety of causes and charity organizations. The charitable causes we support range from medical, health & wellness to youth development programs.
Each basketball event will have three main goals:
1.) Fundraise for a charitable cause
2.) Educate and bring awareness about a charitable cause
3.) Bring people together to work as a team & build community to make an impact
